I hope Mi 10T lite does not have screen ghosting (slow response time)
harwey, 12 hours agoFor just €50 more,Mi 10 Pro (8/256) seems to me as a (much) better option than Mi 10t Pro…It’s so much btr. You get a 90HZ OLED screen, plus those 2 Tele cameras for really good zoom. Plus a curved screen (if that’s your thing)
Petabyte, 10 hours agoExactly. For me the biggest disadvantage is miui – bloated, tacky look, filled with ads & … moreLmaooo did you even use any Xiaomi phone before? Do you know that you can 1) disable ads, 2) remove unwanted system apps with ADB, 3) flash a ROM like Pixel Experience.
Even if you spend more than $300 on a Xiaomi phone (assuming it’s not up to 700+ where btr alternatives are present), it still has btr value than its competitors. You get a btr chipset, screen, build and cameras (which can be improved with Gcam)
Just compare them with phones from Samsung (esp the ones with shitty Exynos chipsets like the Exynos 9611 that Samsung keeps spamming on their A and M series phones) or Apple (which only budget phone option is iPhone SE with a pathetic battery size) or Oppo and Vivo (phones at the midrange price with much less powerful hardware) or even Google (jus look at the Pixel 4a 5G/5).

Anders, 7 hours agoNo micro SD or ip68 on any of them, no headphone jack on 2 of them and all over priced. Comple… moreI don’t think they’re “garbage” necessarily, but the price advantage that was their selling point… Isn’t there when they’re chasing the same premium prices.
And when one of the other makers actually put together a value proposition – as you say, S20 FE 5G is that – it really does make it hard to justify getting a Xiaomi or Oppo (I suppose OnePlus still has the Oxygen OS edge).
Xiaomi went from “all kinds of specs in all sizes and making insane amount of models yearly” to “all kinds of specs, but in the same size and still making insane amount of models yearly”. And I don’t like it.
Petabyte, 10 hours agoExactly. For me the biggest disadvantage is miui – bloated, tacky look, filled with ads & … moreI never owned a MIUI device but i know for sure it is garbage with all the ads and so on.
Seriously go read your yellow papers and be happy in there. Really fed up of your kind who never had one and comment on every news about ads in everywhere. Even bone stock androids have these same ads all over the place as i have bone stock android and i have xiaomi phone too to compare them with ads. It’s just so dumb. You can root your self other android versions on the phone if you dont like the MIUI. The phones are still best on the market with there price and hardware what you get for the money. If you want stock android then you need to sacrifice on hardware a lot or just pay a lot more to have a good hardware too.
If your too lazy to root your preferred os on the phone then dont comment on these news when you hate miui so hard core. You just troll the news with lies cause you hate something you have no clue over or for what ever reason the hate is so painful to you that you cant resist on mucking the products.
No AMOLED was a deal breaker for me. I think the Mi 10T Pro is fine, but the loss of the AMOLED screen seals the deal. I’ll wait and see whatever else Xiaomi releases in the near future. Ideally, I’d like to see some combination of features. I’d like the Mi 10T Pro with a high refresh AMOLED screen and a pop up camera. It’d certainly be more expensive, but I’d be willing to spend more cash on it, to get what I’m looking for.
Anders, 7 hours agoNo micro SD or ip68 on any of them, no headphone jack on 2 of them and all over priced. Comple… moreWrong they’re still cheaper at least some of them. Don’t blame them if you’re not able to see it and purchase for acceptable price. FE has no jack either, sadly. That’s what they do in flagship range so it’s better face it.
Well I’m no Chinese salesman and see more options too so buy even iPhone if you think it’s good for you. I’m not
Shobith, 12 hours agoHow to pre order phones online ???Check online 😄
You really dont know how to order something from their website?
Petabyte, 10 hours agoExactly. For me the biggest disadvantage is miui – bloated, tacky look, filled with ads & … moreI don’t get this logic, you wouldn’t mind using their SW if paid under $300 but it becomes too strange shady etc. to use if paid above ? This only limits HW to cheapo stuff it has nothing to do with it.
No micro SD or ip68 on any of them, no headphone jack on 2 of them and all over priced. Complete trash.
For an extra €50 over the 10T Pro you can get the S20 FE 5G. These Chinese phone makers like Xiaomi, OnePlus, Huawei, Realme etc have lost their minds. The only reason to buy one of them over a Samsung or an Apple was they were much cheaper
Fredwinia, 8 hours agoI had bad experience with xiaomi phones. Yellow spot on the screen. My wife had same problem…. moreWhich only proves you’ve purchased cheapo stuff or it was some while ago not comparable phone had bad screen and now you have good one since they put Samsung AMOLEDS in phones. Just saying.
I’m tired of all the 6.3-6.7″ phones.
I want a more compact phone. Like Samsung Galaxy S10e, Huawei P30, iphone 12 compact.
Duderino, 12 hours agoPricing is downright r etarded. What is Xiaomi smoking? I can get a K30 Ultra for 300 euro and… moreYou are the one that needs to get real, you want the Mi 10T Pro to cost the same as F2 Pro. Mi 10T Pro has several advantages over the F2 Pro. Stop whining and go buy a overpriced Oneplus 8 Pro or whatever suits you better.
I had bad experience with xiaomi phones. Yellow spot on the screen. My wife had same problem. Will not buy xiaomi again. We own samsung phones now. No yellow spots and great batterylife.
why I don’t see any mention about an expandable storage on the 10t lite? I looked at the poco x3 launch introductions at the mi website and there was also no mention of an expandable storage. enlighten me please..
