Android with One UI 2.5 goes to the first European devices from the Galaxy S20 line with an Exynos processor. The system is still built on Android 10. However, there are some useful novelties.

Samsung Android – known as Android with One UI – has a new version that debuted with the market launch of the Galaxy Note20 . However, it is in no way related to this one phone model – it will go to all serviced Galaxy devices. And now the upgrade proposal begins to appear on the first phones in the European market from the Galaxy S20 line with an Exynos processor. Including S20, S20 + and S20 Ultra.

Android with One UI 2.5 for Galaxy S20 – what’s new?

It is worth applying the update. In addition to the typical news , i.e. the improvement of the detected bugs related to stability, performance and security, the update introduces some useful functions. These include, for example, the possibility of using the DeX mechanism in wireless mode – without a cable to the monitor, allowing for displaying a desktop interface on it.

There will also be new features in Pro mode for video recording. Gestures for other launchers than the one loaded by the company will also be unlocked. The quality of the photos taken is also expected to improve.

For now, the update goes to models with a built-in 5G modem, LTE versions may get it later. The next update of the Galaxy S20 – not counting the monthly service patches – is to bring these Android phones with One UI based on Android 11 on board. But we will wait many weeks for that.
