Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series gets first update

Hardly introduced, the first update is coming. The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra are already getting their first firmware update.

The first update for the two new flagships is almost 500 MB in size and will be distributed OTA (over-the-air). However, the changelog of the update does not go into detail and therefore does not reveal any changes.

With the first update, there will probably be some performance improvements, bug fixes, and maybe features that the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series should have, but didn’t make it into the original software.

The two models are not yet commercially available. It will take a few more days before that will happen. And it may well be that there will be another update for the devices by then.

As of August 21, 2020, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will be available in German retail at prices from EUR 925.00 and EUR 1,266.00 respectively.
