The Huawei Mate 40 series will have a total of four variants, the Huawei Mate 40, Huawei Mate 40 Pro, Huawei Mate 40 Pro + and the Huawei Mate 40 Porsche Design.

All variants of the Huawei Mate 40 will have the HiSilicon Kirin 9000 chipset installed. In addition, the SoC is said to be 50 percent more powerful than the last generation Kirin 990. The new SoC will be based on the 5 nm process and Cortex-A78 and is code-named "Baltimore".

CEO Richard Yu also added that the upcoming Huawei Mate 40 series will continue to be upgraded in terms of design, form factor, performance, better 5G connectivity, battery and fast charge.

Unfortunately, Google services will not be on board for the upcoming Huawei Mate 40 series either.
